Outdoor Learning
At a time when young people are often less active and enjoy less freedom to play outdoors, we feel that active outdoor learning is more important now than it has ever been. We are passionate about this, and we will be delighted to help.
Forest school, Bushcraft, team building, climbing, mountain biking, canyoning. We can deliver classic activities which stand-alone as a great day out, or use our experience with your specialist ideas to link activities to curricular work, themes or topics. The potential is endless. What is guaranteed is that young people will learn, develop and grow through outdoor learning.
Schools from Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Durham and Yorkshire have used ATNE's vast experience of delivering outdoor learning to support their students. We have delivered a wide range of activities, residential weeks, school site days and staff training.
Outdoor Learning - Staff Training
We can provide in-service training opportunities for your staff team. We have ideas to encourage active outdoor learning, develop Forest Schools, enhance skills and experience in outdoor activities and create links to the EYFS or curricular projects and ideas.
As experienced teachers, we understand school, the pressures staff face, and the need to make training relevant and transferable. We will give your staff team an excellent and rewarding time, from which your students will ultimately benefit.

We had such a blast on the Native American Indian Day and it was down to both you and Caroline for making it such a fun and memorable experience.
