Team Building

ATNE can deliver a team building programme at your venue or at a nearby local country park. We have worked across the North East region and throughout the UK with a wide range of organisations. These days are fun, exciting, challenging, engaging and inclusive. You will laugh a lot!

We can facilitate and develop team working within a number of challenges including;

Toxic Swamp - Organise the whole team to endeavour across the toxic swamp using only the resources provided.

Gordian Knot - Patience, tenacity and cooperation are needed to unravel the team out of the 'Gordian mess'.

Bomb Rescue - Test your team's thinking skills as they attempt to diffuse the 'nuclear' warhead using only the resources given. Be careful not to set off an explosion and set your team back to the starting point!

Or a host of equally exciting and taxing challenges. They are great fun, but each task has a purpose. What can you learn about yourself and your team as you attempt the challenges we set?

Half day activities are perfect before an important meeting for which delegates need to feel energised, invigorated and motivated

To host the activities at your own venue all that is required is an area of open space approx 500m sq (preferably grass) and we will bring our equipment to your site.

Adventure Days

Your team will need to work together to overcome your fears and encourage each other to succeed in a range of activities which could include:-

Bush craft

Back to basics! Collect wood, make a fire, build a shelter, prepare fish, game and rabbit, cook a group meal. Can your 'team' survive in the 'wild'?

Canyoning

Learn more about yourself and your team mates in the most exciting outdoor experience on offer. Ash Ghyll, North Pennines. Test your limits as you journey down a gorge completing various challenges as you go. Dare you jump off the tree? Encourage your colleagues to venture into Aladdin's cave.

Support each other to cross below the waterfall and slide backwards with the help of a friend! You will all need each others' encouragement to attempt the Leap of Faith!

Abseiling

Support each other to overcome your fears together. Abseiling may be done as a stand-alone activity or alongside climbing and may be an indoor or North Pennines based outdoor challenge.

Mountain biking

Choose from a variety of routes to suit all abilities and work together to navigate and complete a journey at one of the North East's top mountain biking venues: Kielder, Dalby or Hamsterley Forest

Gorge walking

See each other in a different light and develop new working relationships having shared an outdoor experience such as a gorge walk in the picturesque Lake District. Encouragement, support and team work will be required to see your team through to the end.

Climbing

Develop trust and improve communication and confidence in each other through climbing, indoors or outdoors. Work as a team to reach new heights! Visit the crags of Northumberland, Yorkshire or the Lake District

The day was very well organised and it was a lot of fun. In the morning we did some fun team building exercises where everyone had a wonderful time. In the afternoon we learned more about what to watch out for in the woods, what plants are poisonous and what to use to build a fire. It was great fun to try and get a fire going without matches. And then the food! I never had so much fun preparing a meal. It’s not for a weak stomach though. Overall I really enjoyed the day with Jon and Caroline. I would definitely do it again and can only recommend them to anyone who is interested in such activites.
