This course is intended for experienced hill walkers who wish to become leaders in the British mountains. Its aim is to address the technical skills, judgement and areas of knowledge which will make you a safe leader, and which you will need to practice before returning for assessment.
Pre-requisites and a detailed syllabus are available from the MLTUK website.
We are able to facilitate the provision of both Training and Assessment courses.
The courses are residential and will include an expedition with 'wild' camping.
Training: Ratio: 1:6 - Duration: 6 days
Assessment: Ratio: 1:4 - Duration: 5 days
